Jason worked as a carpenter for eight years before decided to follow his interest in medicine; specifically, a kind of medicine that could identify the person’s root cause of illness.
After searching for the best method to study, he found a kind of acupuncture designed to release the tight muscles along the spine while improving the immune system.
Jason graduated from the Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii and completed his 4 year apprenticeship under Dr. Chieko Maekawa and her teacher, Dr. Daiichi Sorimachi. He now enjoys practicing this style of acupuncture in Kona and seeing its benefits on others.
